Special Events Volunteer Application Form

The City of St. Catharines, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services department welcomes volunteers to help with special events throughout the year.

Simply put, we cannot deliver our special events without the dedication of volunteers like yourself.

This application is to volunteer for Special Events that happen throughout the year. Selected volunteers will be notified a minimum of two weeks prior to the event they’ve applied to help with.

Volunteers help with all aspects of the event, including set up/tear down, face painting/temporary tattoos, craft stations, general information/handouts, parking/traffic control just to name a few tasks. Most volunteers work in a team environment; experienced or mature volunteers may be given individuals tasks while junior volunteers would be given tasks in a buddy system.

Volunteer applicants should be comfortable working outside and with families and children of all ages. Volunteer time is eligible for high school community service hours.
